Camp Living Waters is located on 100 acres surrounding Stewart Lake, and is totally
surrounded by the Pere Marquette State Forest. Fishing, hiking trails,
horseback riding, ORV and/or snowmobile trails, and nature opportunities abound.
Special Equipment and Services
weather activities include horseback riding (for an additional fee),
basketball, volleyball, four square, 9 square in the air, horse shoes,
sand volleyball, large sports field for soccer, and baseball. Low ropes
and team building initiatives are also available.
Waterfront activities include swimming, canoes, paddle boats, splash
boats, row boats, with very close access to Michigan's finest trout
streams and canoeing rivers.
Numerous nature trails, ORV trails, to take in all of the beauty of God's creation.
For the hunting sports enthusiasts we have air rifle and archery
ranges, trap shooting (we ask that you provide your own guns and clay
the winter months we offer horseback riding (For an additional fee.
Weather and conditions permitting.), cross country ski trails with
facilities, nearby down hill ski resorts (Caberfae & Crystal
Mountain) and our very own lighted tubing hill with tubes. We also have
a small rink for broomball.
For your take home souvenirs and refreshments we have a Camp Store with
snack foods as well as T-shirts and sweatshirts and other goodies
Other amenities include any needed A/V equipment, outdoor chapel, fire pits, fooseball, ping pong
table in the Jackpine Lodge and assorted table games & puzzles.
We can provide meals and any snacks year round in our dining hall. We
can also provide sack lunches for any of your off site excursions.
Camp Accreditations and Associations
Living Waters is licensed by the Michigan Department of Consumer
and Industry Services, and thus meets the standards set by the state
for children's camps. We are also a member of Christian Camp and
Conference Association, which focuses on our commitment to Christian
the individual, the church, and the community.
